He forgave me... I don't know why but he did. Now we're planning for me to go see him for our anniversary (Sep 1st)... I miss him...

He forgave you because he LOVES you...and because he's a healthy, mature, FLEXIBLE guy...and I know all of this without knowing HIM, just by the fact that whatever happens, he's able to move forward from it. That speaks highly of him, Lily.
Go see him in September, and take good care of each other.

Forgiveness is DIVINE indeed. In our quest for LOVE we often fail to take into account that in order to find the other half of our medallion, we must first know what are own half looks like.

I've also been known to say that saying "You're sorry" only means you are sorry you didn't get away with it, while 'being sorry' means it doesn't happen again.
