The great thing about hanging out with people a lot older than you, is you always feel younger than you are.
The bad thing about hanging out with people your age, around people younger than you, is you suddenly feel soooo old...
I remember Care Bears, Dole, when N'Sync was cool, Spice Girls, Waco, Strawberry Shortcake, OKC bombing, Polly Pocket when she actually fit in your pocket, the former President Bush, Tickle Me Elmo causing riots, Global Warming being iffy, Pixie Sticks being "kids crack", Clinton's blue dress and his need for the definition of "is", OJ Simpson's glove, Save By the Bell, 90210, and big hair being awesome still... I still wonder how much the 80's contaminated the 90's lol
And half the people I talk to are too young to remember any of this.
I'll get over that being disturbing eventually, but right now, having this happen to me for the first time, it's making me feel more like 89 than 19.
This is so like, so totally like unfair.
Ah... I feel younger. I just need to throw more likes into my sentences. Where's my old Backstreet Boys CD...?
Actually, I feel younger knowing that a lot of people reading this just remembered all of this and how old they were at the time. Hehe... I mean um... Sorry. lol
(Will thought this entry was excellent...
