You Don't Know the Meaning of Random

Don't you hate it when you open a coke (er soda) and it's frozen, and you forget, and you turn around, and it's melting, and overflowing because for some totally screwy reason it won't melt and go down but go up? Or is this just a frozen hell zone thing?

It's snowing. I'm starting to hate snow.

Grandma's 75th birthday is Sunday. We're going bowling. My 75 year old grandma wants to go bowling. She is superwoman. Or... supergranny lol She'd find that funny... I think... Okay no one tell her I said that.

We also made reservations for dinner there, and mom ordered a Red Hat Society cake because my grandma loves them. I'm going to give her the links to sign up online if she wants to.

I still haven't gotten her anything for her birthday. Ugh... I don't know what to buy her. This is a big birthday. She doesn't need knick knacks. Trust me on this. I've dusted her house. TRUST ME.

I can't believe I'm drinking diet now...

Got some clothes. Dress, sweater, two blouses, one pull over peasant top. Really cute stuff. I wanted something nice to wear for Grandma's birthday.

Anyway that's about it, not much going on really, and no I haven't had any deep thoughts either. My deepest thoughts lately have been what I want for dinner lol

So, how've you all been?

Go hokey -- give her a portrait of yourself in one of those frames that allow you to record a message and read her a poem you like ... or just tell her how much you love her. Trust me, it's the gift of "you" that she'll treasure most.

I like Wil's idea, let it come from the heart!

Oh, and we can end this coke/soda debate by just calling it "pop."

I'm putting my money on a nice red hat :).

Or better yet, a photo album of you and her, capturing your lives from beginning to now.

I curse the day I ever discovered diet soda. Now I drink it more often than I ever did with the real stuff, and sometimes it just feels so wrong. Ya know?

I sure don't miss those MN winters, but spring is right around the corner. Hang in there.
