As of 12:26 last night, I am 19 years old.
For some reason, I'm sad. My last year as a "teenager." Ew. I suppose it's more the knowing that everything from here is going to get more and more complicated at a much faster rate.
That just isn't fair, I mean really. The uncomplicated part of your life should last longer right? Well, if that's true I'd have stayed 6 years old a lot longer. After that is surprisingly when things started getting complicated for me.
Bleh.
So, anyone, after being an extreme downer lol Here's my plans for tonight:
Dinner, movie, sleep.
Yes, that was sarcasm lol
I do have to thank Will, and Andrew and Bethany (two of the sweetest kids ever born, I mean it), for their happy birthdays. Will stayed up with me last night for my "birthminute." Bethany made sure to tell me happy birthday last night in case she didn't see me today. And Andrew sent me the sweetest email. Thank you guys, it meant so much!
In other news...
My dad went to Gamblers Anonymous... And the guy said he didn't have a problem. Mom and I don't know what he said, but I'd bet $30,000 he didn't tell him the truth. (Yes there's a joke in that.) Since that's how much he spent last year at the casino. Anyone that knows that would know he has a problem. ESPECIALLY a "professional." As far as mom and I know he hasn't gone to the casino in about a week. Which is impressive considering there are weeks he goes every single night.
We took my cat and dog to the vet. Tiger (my cat) had an infection. He was really sick. But after the antibiotics and steroids, he's okay now. And he gained a pound back! Yay!
My dog has a "hot spot" (allergy thingy) so he's got some pills to take for the next week, but apparently this is something we'll have to deal with every year. Oh well. Gots to keep the babies healthy.
I made my first EVER cheesecake for Thanksgiving! And absolutely EVERYTHING went wrong. It took me SIX hours to bake the friggin thing. I thought it was going to be a disaster, but it looks really good and I tasted some that came off on the pan. It tastes pretty good. I'll have to try it again now that I know what the hell I'm doing lol
Anyway, I need to go wash up and get ready to go to dinner! Everyone have a MARVELOUS Thanksgiving, load up on turkey and have some green bean casserole for me!

Lily,
I'm so very glad to see you posting, and so very glad to see you approaching a milestone birthday at 20 next year, after all I am gonig to be 30 in a few months!
Happy Birthday, kiddo, and many happy returns of the day!
My comment got lost there, if you should happen to wind up with 2. I was just agreeing with you about how we could sure use a few more of the simple years tacked on, because there is way too much time to be miserable grumpy adults!
I wanted to file a suit, but I'm way past the statute of limitations on this one.
Anyway, I wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday. Enjoy Thanksgiving with the family, and save me one slice of cheesecake ok?
Jimmy
Happy Birthday Lily! And save a slice of that cheesecake for me.
;)

Happy Birthday sweetheart and I hope that you've gotten everything you've wanted this Thanksgiving as well.
Here's hoping that you'll enjoy many more and that I will remain a part of each and every one of them.
